Dr. Bird is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Lic.# MH 6090), Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist, Board Certified Clinical Sexologist and Sex Therapist, Certified Anxiety Specialist, Sexuality Speaker, Hypnotherapist, National Certified Counselor, Life Coach, and Relationship and Intimacy Counselor. She has been in private practice for over 11 years.  She provides consultations for current Licensed Psychotherapists and supervision for future sex therapists and Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns.
 
Dr. Bird uses such treatment methods as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy [Rational Living Therapy (RLT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Interpersonal Therapy (CIT)], Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Sex Therapy, and Life Coaching.
 
Dr. Bird is a Diplomate and Supervisor of the American Board of Sexology and a Qualified Supervisor with the State of Florida.
